What is mental health? Usually, when we talk about mental health we are referring to an individual's emotional, social, and psychological well-being. Mental health should be considered every bit as important as physical health when it comes to living a full and active life. In fact, good physical health can work in tandem with mental health to improve a person’s overall quality of life.
Unfortunately, diagnosing mental health can be more difficult than physical ailments as many psychological diagnoses depend on the individual's perception of their experiences.
